I spent a fantastic Sunday morning (not riding but behind my camera) with the two women teams from Lovelo Cinelli at the Silverstone Formula 1 track.
It was an early start for me, leaving my bed at 7 and hitting the road without breakfast or coffee. If you knew that I am not a morning person really, you would understand my struggle…nevertheless, it was totally worth it!
Luckily I met the lovely people from the Flapjackery who had a booth with a huge selection of incredible yummy flapjacks, which helped me sorting my non-breakfast issue.
Both Lovelo Cinelli Teams seemed to be pleased with their results and I was more than pleased with the cake that Charlotte provided for the post race gathering. 🙂
The only downside for me was the limited area access I was granted (due to security reasons, which I can totally understand). Therefore the race photos are taken from one location. Nevertheless, I think I was lucky enough and managed to take some cracking shots.
From a personal point of view it was good to meet some friendly faces, like Brian from Golden Ages Bicycles, who showcased some of his vintage bikes at the venue. You might remember that I featured some of his golden age cycles previously here and here.
Check below a selection of photos I took, while trying not to lose my fingertips to the cold (it was freezing!!).
