To me this year was great and special. First of all from a private point of view with a lot of travels but also from a veloccino.com point of view.
I started with a vision to share what I am up to as a personal journal and try a slightly different approach to cycling media. The traffic and user stats across social media but also and most importantly on this website increased to motivating numbers. Obviously you question yourself every now and then if it makes sense to keep on going and take the hit to put a lot of effort and time in without really getting anything in return.
Therefore to me this year was an important measure to see if I am on the right track. I am confident to say that veloccino.com is heading into the right direction. The journal is short listed in the top 5 of the Trespass cycling blog awards and listed on the UK blogging awards in the category “sport and fitness”. I made a lot of friends in the cycling world and have a million ideas in the bag on how to push veloccino to the next level, reaching a bigger audience and showing that cycling has so much more to offer than just the generic tech review kind of content. 2017! Let’s make it an even better one…
