A few weeks back I enjoyed an amazingly yummy coffee at the Eurobike in Friedrichshafen, Germany at the mobile coffee booth of The Hague’s Lola Coffe and Bikes (The photo below shows their sweet setup at the Eurobike). The experience was  great and made me want to investigate further. Who is Lola and what makes their coffee so special?

Once voted the best coffee bar in the Netherlands, Lola Bikes & Coffee is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious brew while being surrounded by great music and even better bike-themed decorations. Complete with a bike workshop alongside a store that carries bike accessories, books and journals, it is the perfect stop for any traveler looking to take a quick break.
Once inside, you’ll find yourself greeted by a staff that is as varied as the decorations and even more specialized. Each barista works with their favorite coffee bean to create some of the best drinks in the Netherlands.Come at different times for the different baristas, and you’ll find yourself enjoying your favorite brew with a deliciously different flavor. And the baristas don’t use general store-bought coffee beans for this. Instead, a group of employees headed to Bocca to meet with the store’s coffee bean provider. There, they hand-picked their favorite coffee beans that they now use to make your drinks as delectable as is possible.

If you’re looking to get more involved with the store, Lola Bikes & Coffee holds a workshop the last Thursday of every month. During this event, you’ll be treated to the tricks of the trade and some amazing coffee tasting. Topics range from slow drip and espresso directions to some of the most coveted barista secrets. As space is limited, be sure to reserve your ticket in advance.
If you want toi find out more about their story, the faces behind the coffee and more, please check out there website here:Â http://lolabikesandcoffee.nl/Â and obviously pay them a visit whilst being in The Hague!
