As you might know I spent the festive season in Germany. This time I took the ferry from Harwich to the Hook of Holland and had an overnight stay at my good friend Edward in Amsterdam.
We had a great night out in the area where he lives . While strolling back home from a bar I found this cute little coffee shop right at the corner of the road. Obviously it was closed at that time of night, so I made sure that I would come to visit for breakfast the following morning. I found out that they actually do not really serve breakfast, so I just changed my plan and started the day with a flat white accompanied with a lovely piece of cake.
As I did not have much time let before I had to head off to Germany this post is shorter than it should be. The cafe experience was great because the atmosphere made me feel very homely.
Next time I will definitely visit again and hopefully I will have a bit more time to spend.
